Become a Volunteer

We’re always looking for people who enjoy teaching and playing games with others, are patient, have a friendly ear, and have good communication skills.

We can provide training on how to make gaming inclusive. It also provides opportunities to demonstrate your communication, adaptability and social skills.

All volunteers will be subject to a DBS (criminal record) check and must abide by our safeguarding policies.

People’s Meeples is a small constituted charity. That means having a membership is really important – our membership is made up of people who want to support our work in the community or feel like they would benefit from our board gaming.

• You get the warm fluffy feeling of lending emotional support to a new venture to benefit the people of Hartlepool.
• We will be working in partnership with tea@hart to provide special offers in the future.
• You will get monthly updates.
• You are able to vote in our AGM and help to shape the future of People’s Meeples.

At the moment there’s NO FEE for joining.

Become a Gamer

Gaming is a great way to relax and socialise in a fun and cooperative setting. Have a look at our regular events that we have on and come visit us to play games with friends!
